within reason of course but I have to believe that all of this and all that I've experienced in my life to date has been for a reason

This was in my Nanny's livingroom... she's in a nursing home now and the house has been divided up, cleaned up and sold.

So cute! I wish that we still did pictures like that. I always remember and cherish that about my Grandma's house but yet we don't have any big, impressive pictures of our family in our home. Hmmm, I think I need to work on that!
I'm a photographer so yes you need to work on that. It's been difficult being around families in my work life and so many new babies but I just love that my clients trust me to capture this amazing time in their lives!
Find a photographer in your area and make it happen.. you'll cherish them forever : )
